Dennis Brown- Here I Come [Most Watched/Original Post]

Love and hate can never be friends
Oh no, oh no

Here I come with love and not hatred
surely goodness and mercy
shall follow I all the days of I life
envy no one no wish to be with no evil man
for there'll come the day
when you'll be whipped by the father's hand

Live up roots children

Live up rasta children

My head is annointed and my cup runneth over
surely goodness and mercy
shall follow I all the days of I life

  6. People are being brainwashed to promote hatred. I think most of us have forgotten how love can conquer all negativity in the world.

  7. Im 15 ,dont smoke weed and love Dennis Brown and Marley <3

  8. Nothing wrong with that. You don't have to smoke weed to enjoy reggae and great music in general.

  9. I'm 19, I smoke weed, but I've only been doing it for 6 months. I was a reggae fan since birth. The stereotype needs to die. I think they just associate the Rastafarian culture with reggae that's why.

  16. was jus reading a note from bob and even he say dat dennis was the greatest reggae singer of all time

    ReplyDelete
  17. of course he would say so, dennis is one of the greats but in terms of a revolutionary reggae artist and super star, he cant compare to bob. Bob was smart in not praising himself as the greatest becuz im sure he know's self praise is no praise. but i love dennis music tho, regardless.

  27. Heard this song on the radio today in my car (1-29-11) coming back from New Haven, CT I said to my wife and daughter, it's amazing how we don't hear these kind of lyrics nowadays, just songs promoting destructive behavior. Not even from Jamaica, look at the garbage coming from Jamaica now like the "Nasty tattooed, self hating bleaching Cartel. What a shame!!!!
