What is causing the Earth to keep spinning? When will the spinning stop?

At the birth of the solar system, approximately 4.5 billion years ago, Earth accreted material from interstellar space.  Debris from Comets, Asteroids and celestial bodies collided with Earth, and again, Earths gravity pulled this material inwards.  If you think about it; objects at a distance when caught in Earths gravitational pull will hurl towards the Earth and circle the Earth until it collides with it.  This repeated motion of the early Earths substances were all in motion, spinning and colliding.  This is what set the Earth off, in it's current 'spin'.  However, the life cycle of our Sun is 10 billion years.  At this point, the Sun will go through a series of phases until ultimately, it becomes a cold white dwarf.  If the Earth is not consumed and vaporized during the Red Giant phase, it will no longer be within the hold of our Star.  The Sun lose it's mass and send the planets off into space.  I postulate that the Earths spin will change dramatically, and potentially stop.

I Love You
